Dr. Debbie Dietrich

Dr. Dietrich is a highly skilled and dedicated dentist with a comprehensive background in both cosmetic and implant dentistry. She completed an accelerated pre-dental program and earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2011. Following her graduation, Dr. Dietrich gained valuable experience as an associate dentist in Iowa for five years, before relocating to Chicago for two years. Then she had the privilege of working with Dr. David Hornbrook, a world-renowned cosmetic dentist, in San Diego. While she has enjoyed her time in different places, Dr. Dietrich decided to return to Iowa to be closer to family and friends, and to give back to the community she holds dear.

Dr. Dietrich is devoted to creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for all patients, understanding that each smile is unique. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing personalized care, Dr. Dietrich blends art and science to create natural, radiant smiles that enhance both appearance and confidence.

Beyond her dental expertise, Dr. Dietrich is an avid traveler, constantly exploring new destinations, cultures, and culinary delights. She’s a big fan of sporting events and enjoys unwinding with hobbies like cooking, yoga, watching movies and discovering new interests. Growing up with two veterinarians as parents, Dr. Dietrich developed a deep love and respect for animals. At home, she’s the proud owner of two cats, who bring her endless joy and companionship.

Dr. Dietrich truly believes that a beautiful, healthy smile can have a profound impact on a person’s life, and she is honored to be part of that journey with her patients.

Dr. Ryan Langel

Ryan Langel, DDS, is a driven and passionate Doctor of Dental Surgery at Plaza Dental Group in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Langel feels fortunate to be providing the Urbandale community with high-quality and comprehensive dental care, a community he calls home.

Dr. Langel was raised on a farm in rural Le Mars, Iowa, the Ice Cream Capital of the World. In 2011, he graduated from Iowa State University in Ames with a degree in agriculture and then returned to Le Mars, where he worked on his family farm with his father. After several years of farming, he decided on a career change to focus on his passion for dentistry. He graduated from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2022. He found a passion for dentistry through his own oral health, finding that the health of the oral cavity is crucial to the health the person. Dr. Langel enjoys providing a comfortable, calm, and friendly experience for all his patients while improving their overall health and creating beautiful smiles. He says that building a relationship with his patients is one of the great things about being a dentist.

Outside of work, Dr. Langel loves spending time with his wife and two kids, traveling, and catching a good show or movie on Netflix. Dr. Langel and his wife, Diana, are excited to be back in the Des Moines area, where they are closer to family, friends, and the
Cyclones.
